PRESS RELEASE

On September 2, 2026 at approximately 12:54 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with Greenville Township Fire and Rescue, responded to the 8000 block of US Route 127 for a two-vehicle injury crash.

Preliminary investigation revealed a gray Nissan Juke, driven by Holly Garland (64) of Greenville, was northbound on US Route127 and had stopped waiting to make a left turn, when she was rear-ended by a black Ford F-150, driven by James McGlothen (83) of Dixon, MO.

Garland and her front seat passenger were transported to Wayne HealthCare for suspected minor injuries, while McGlothen was treated and released at the scene.
