St. Marys, Ohio (8-25-26) – Grand Lake Health System has once again earned the highest overall score in its Ohio peer group in Anthem’s Quality-In-Sights: Hospital Incentive Program (Q-HIP(r)), marking the second consecutive year the health system has achieved the No. 1 ranking.

For the 2025 measurement year, Grand Lake Health System earned an overall score of 92.71, the highest among Ohio hospitals in its peer group of facilities with 100-199 CMS-certified beds. The score substantially exceeded both the Ohio median of 68.29 and the five-state Central Region median of 70.18.

The Q-HIP program evaluates hospitals across key areas of performance, including patient safety, health outcomes and patient satisfaction. A total of 443 hospitals across Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin had data included in the 2025 program.

Earning the top ranking for a second consecutive year demonstrates Grand Lake Health System’s ability to sustain high performance while continuing to strengthen the care provided to patients throughout the region.

Grand Lake Health System earned the highest score in its peer group in Anthem’s 2024 Q-HIP program with a score of 93.71. The health system’s return to the No. 1 position for 2025 reflects sustained excellence across two consecutive measurement years.
