(8-11-26) The Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating a deadly police shooting in Findlay.
Police said they received a call after 1 p.m. Monday from a man staying at the Rodeway Inn on Broad Ave. who was threatening to harm himself. The caller said he had a gun and then hung up, police said.
Officers said they arrived and found Holden Smith (37) standing in the parking lot while waving and pointing a gun.
Police said that they tried to negotiate with Smith, but were unsuccessful.
