COLUMBUS, OH– (8-10-26) Today, Dr. Amy Acton released the following statement about the Ohio Supreme Court’s ruling that the village of Ashville improperly blocked residents from opposing a data center: 

“Whether through NDAs or what happened in Ashville, government officials should never try to squash the voices or concerns of citizens and voters about data centers moving into their community. I’m pleased that Ashville residents can see their citizen petition move forward, and as Governor, I will ensure that that is the case across Ohio.”
