⭐ Talent: HER Story Presentation
💙 Community Service Initiative: H.O.P.E (Helping Others through Peer Education on Alcohol Abuse)

Caitlyn is an upcoming junior at Wright State University Lake Campus, where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She currently works as both a Certified Nursing Assistant at @Mercer Health and a sales associate at Made Apparel. After earning her nursing degree, she hopes to become a labor and delivery nurse and eventually continue her education to earn a master’s degree.

A Dean Scholar at Wright State Lake Campus, Caitlyn is actively involved as Treasurer of the Miracle Makers Club, a member of Catholic Campus Ministry, and a Study Abroad Ambassador.

Caitlyn’s Community Service Initiative was inspired by personal experiences and her desire to bring greater awareness to alcohol abuse and its impact on individuals, families, and communities. She believes education and open conversation can help create positive change.

Caitlyn is most looking forward to stepping outside of her comfort zone, making new friendships, and growing through her experience as part of the Miss Lake Festival Scholarship Organization.

Through her CSI, Compassion Without Conditions, Alika hopes to encourage young people to be kind, accepting, and inclusive of others. Inspired by her own experiences, she wants every child to feel valued and supported without feeling the need to change who they are in order to fit in.

Alika is involved in dance, cross country, National Honor Society, Key Club, Student Council, Honors Council, FCCLA, art, and musical productions. She currently serves as Public Relations Officer for NHS and President of Key Club.
