(7-16-26) The Paulding Police Department investigated an armed robbery that was reported on Wednesday at the Circle K in Paulding at approximately 12:53 a.m.
Two masked suspects wearing black hooded sweatshirts allegedly fled the store with less than $100 in cash.
By Wednesday night, officers had located and taken two individuals into custody.
Booked into the Paulding County Jail:

- Robert Chatman

Both are facing charges of complicity and aggravated robbery with a weapon specification.
A presumption of innocence means that any defendant in a criminal trial is assumed to be innocent until they have been proven guilty. As such, a prosecutor is required to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the person committed the crime if that person is to be convicted. To do so, proof must be shown for every single element of a crime.
