Entertainment is Alive in Van Wert

Van Wert, OH [June 29, 2026] – The entertainment lineup continues to grow at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center as Van Wert Live announces two exciting new shows that are now on sale to the public. From family-friendly wonder to legendary comedy, these additions offer something for audiences of all ages this fall.

First up is The Amazing Bubble Factory, coming to the Niswonger on Saturday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m. Presented by OhioHealth, and Supported by Gary Taylor, this interactive and visually stunning production transforms the simple art of bubble-making into a larger-than-life theatrical experience. Audiences will witness giant bubbles, bubble sculptures, bubble magic, and incredible feats that delight children and adults alike.

Perfect for families looking for a fun summer outing, The Amazing Bubble Factory combines science, imagination, and audience participation into a one-of-a-kind experience that is sure to leave everyone smiling.

Second City & Amazing Bubble Factory

Then, on Saturday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m., comedy takes center stage with The Best of The Second City, presented by Danfoss. For more than 65 years, The Second City has been the launching pad for some of the biggest names in comedy, including Tina Fey, Bill Murray, Stephen Colbert, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Carell, and countless others.

This special touring production features some of the funniest sketches, songs, and improvisation from The Second City’s rich history. Packed with sharp wit, audience interaction, and laugh-out-loud moments, the show brings the legendary Chicago comedy institution directly to Van Wert for one unforgettable evening.
