I would like to extend my congratulations to Sgt. Sarah Couch for her outstanding performance last night, marking her return after several months away due to major surgery.
The Greenville Police Department was involved in a felony pursuit with at least two suspects. When Sgt. Couch learned that the pursuit was heading toward the Village of Ansonia, she strategically positioned her cruiser just outside the village to help apprehend the suspects before they could enter and potentially endanger residents with their high-speed driving. Thanks to her efforts, the vehicle was successfully stopped, and she assisted the Greenville Police in apprehending the suspects.
Excellent work, Sgt. Couch! Welcome back! This is a perfect example of effective teamwork between agencies. Great job!
