(5-7-26) The results are in from the SkillsUSA State Leadership & Skills Conference, and our Robotics & Automation students absolutely dominated! We are incredibly proud to announce that six of our talented students brought home medals in two high-stakes categories.

Winning at this level isn’t just about showing up; it’s the result of countless hours spent mastering complex PLC programming, FANUC robot programming, pneumatics, fluid power systems, and mechanical integration. These students have dedicated themselves to perfecting every wire, connection, and line of code, proving that the future of industrial automation and controls is in very capable hands.

Robotics and Automation Technology:
🥇 1st Place (State Champions!): Landon Dietz (St. Marys)and Eli Huwer (Minster)
Mechatronics:
🥈 2nd Place: Hayden McDowell (Celina) and Alex Greer (St. Henry)
🥉 3rd Place: Isaac Homan (Coldwater) and Gage Mullins (Celina)
Tri Star comments-
Seeing these students apply their classroom training to a high-pressure state environment and come out on top is what the Tri Star mission is all about. Their technical precision and problem-solving skills truly set them apart as the best in the state.
