(4-22-26) Joseph Sanders (35) of Coldwater was booked today on disorderly conduct and misconduct at an emergency.

He is being held at the Mercer County Adult Detention Center.

In Ohio, misconduct at an emergency is a serious offense. Under Ohio Revised Code § 2917.13, this conduct occurs when an individual knowingly hampers lawful operations at an emergency scene or fails to obey lawful orders issued by authorities.

Misdemeanor of the First Degree: If the misconduct creates a risk of physical harm to persons or property, it escalates to a misdemeanor of the first degree
