(2-6-26) Racist meme?
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told PEOPLE when asked about the video.
“This is from an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from The Lion King. Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public.”
The full meme shows a hierarchy of politicians as jungle animals, with the Obamas as apes in that specific role for just a few seconds. It originated from conservative meme accounts (like one tied to @xerias_x on X or Facebook) and has been called out by figures across the spectrum, including Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), who labeled it “the most racist thing I’ve seen out of this White House.” Defenders framed it as harmless “internet meme” satire, but critics highlighted the dehumanizing imagery.
Democrats respond-
Donald Trump is a vile, unhinged and malignant bottom feeder.
Why are GOP leaders like John Thune continuing to stand by this sick individual?
President Trump responds-

I am sure Jesus approves.

I doubt that Jesus would approve of any of the politics in this country. Sure seems kind of harmless considering what the dems have tried to do to him and still trying to do. It’s a meme not reality besides they should be looney tunes characters lol

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Besides, it takes character to take the “high road”. Something Trump will never be accused of.
There is a saying that: if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is a duck.

So blacks look and act like apes? Are you the kind of Christian that believes we are all of God’s children or just a select few? You have told on yourself.
BTW, it seems the TDS card is always played when the player has nothing.

If it were meant to be racist, then why aren’t all the black people depicted as apes? This is an equal opportunity insult to everyone except for Trump. I honestly don’t think I would have even picked up on the “racist” angle that everyone is talking about if it weren’t for it being pointed out by the people that think that black people look like apes!
