(8-16-25) On Friday, August 15, 2025, at approximately 7:09pm, Darke County Sheriff Deputies, along with Ansonia Fire and Rescue responded to the intersection of State Routh 118 and Beamsville-Union City Road regarding a vehicle crash with injury.

Investigation revealed a 2018 Cadillac ATS, driven by Patsy Clark, 77, of Ansonia, was at a posted stop sign on Beamsville-Union City Road before traveling into the pathway of a southbound, 2024 Toyota Camry, driven by Daniel Wigger Jr, 37, of Ansonia. The collision caused Wigger to strike Clarkโ€™s vehicle on the rear passenger side, causing both vehicles to go off the roadway. Clarkโ€™s vehicle then struck a pole before coming to rest. Both Wigger and Clark refused medical treatment on scene after both were suspected of having minor injuries. Clark was issued a citation for Failure to Yield.
