Chief Brian Christopher

ST. MARYS (12-19-24) โ€“ Brian Christopher has been named the new St. Marys Police Chief. Christopher has been serving as the interim Police Chief following the October retirement of Jake Sutton.

Christopher said –

โ€œI am honored and humbled to serve as the cityโ€™s next chief of police. I look forwarded to leading the department and continuing to serve the city.โ€

Christopher is a St. Marys Memorial High School graduate and earned a bachelorโ€™s degree in criminal justice from Ohio Northern University. He was hired as a St. Marys patrolman on December 1st, 2003 and completed his Ohio Peace Office Basic Training in March of 2004. Christopher was promoted to sergeant in November 2015.
