(4-20-24) Around 8 p.m. tonight three railcars of a CSX train derailed around the 800 block of Wyoming Avenue in Lockland, Hamilton County.
Of the derailed cars, CSX says one car was reportedly holding “plastic pellets” and the car “lost some of its contents.” CSX also said that two tank cars also derailed, one had contents in it and the other was empty, but they are allegedly not leaking.
Evacuations are reportedly being made for those within 500 feet of the tracks, according to the city of Wyoming. The Hamilton County Emergency Management Agency is asking people to within 500 feet to stay inside where they are and to not travel to the impacted area.
