
(11-29-23) Anita Green of Wapakoneta has pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact in the 2022 murder of Timothy Hovanec. Green is scheduled to be sentenced on February 23rd, 2024.

Green wass accused of helping her daughter Amanda Hovenac, Timothy’s wife, and her boyfriend Anthony Theodorou of South Africa dispose of Timothy’s body after he was killed with a lethal overdose of a drug that Theodorou had imported from South Africa.
With their cases still pending in Federal Court. Amanda Hovanec and Theodorou have pleaded not guilty to charges against them related to the murder of Timothy Hovanec.
All three suspects were arrested in May of last year.
Green had been the the executive director of the Auglaize County’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) office in Wapakoneta.
