(5-12-23) Mercer County Veterans Services Officer Tom Risch is retiring.

Risch served in the US Air Force for four years, including time in Southeast Asia from 1969 to 1970. Risch has assisted local veterans and their families with receiving benefits for 35 years.

Eric Pugh of Venedocia, who has worked as an Auglaize County’s Veterans Service officer and as an Allen County Sheriff’s Deputy. He is a veteran who served in Afghanistan and Iraq will take over for Risch.
