Terry and Danielle Dawn

03/27/2023 – On March 27, 2023 at approximately 11:32am Celina Police Department officers responded to America’s Best Value Inn on a report of a female acting strangely.  A Celina Fire Department squad was already on the scene as well for a male that was found to have fallen down a set of stairs.  

Further investigation found that the couple, identified as Terry (47) and Danielle Dawn (45) of Berne, Indiana, had been involved in a crash on SR 49 in the morning and had received a ride to the hotel afterwards. 

While speaking with the couple officers observed criminal indicators of drug abuse.  Officers located a substantial amount of suspected heroin in the hotel room. 

The couple was arrested on a 5th degree felony charge and booked of Possession of Drugs. They both are being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility. No bond has been set. They are awaiting a hearing in the Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
