(3-3-23) The Shanes Crossing Historical Society is resuming its speaker series with a power point presentation “World War ll and the Rockford-Willshire Area” by Harrison Frech, retired local educator. The program is about the war including examples of local people’s contributions to winning the greatest conflict in history on battlefields around the world and on the home front. The Society’s meeting will be held on Monday, March 20th, 2023 at 7 pm at the Rockford Village Office located at 151 E Columbia St. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
