Alex and Lindsay Schmitt with baby boy Thomas Mosley Schmitt

(2-23-23) The first baby born in Auglaize County following its 175th Anniversary celebration…the parents are Alex and Lindsay Schmitt who welcomed baby boy Thomas Mosley Schmitt at 5:55 a.m. on Thursday, February 16th at Joint Township Hospital in St. Marys. Thomas weighed 6 pounds and 10 ounces.

The Auglaize County 175th Anniversary Committee thanked First National Bank and its branches for providing the gift basket for Thomas. In addition, he will receive a commemorative silver coin from the celebration.
