(1-30-23) Celina FFA Senior, Matthew Albers competed in the “Drop the Mic” Public Speaking Invitational on January 28th at Bloom Carroll High School. He competed in the Extemporaneous Speaking Division. In this division students select an agriculturally related topic out of a hat and are given 30 minutes to research & write a 5-7 minute speech. The topic Matthew chose was “Explain the difference between Animal Welfare vs Animal Rights.” Matthew placed 10th overall in the contest competing against 20 other competitors all across the State of Ohio.
