(1-24-23) It looks like the Stateline area is in for another major winter storm. Below is the forecast for Wednesday morning.

• A winter storm watch is in effect for northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio from 4 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
• Snow spreads into the region from the southwest to the northeast after midnight.
• A period of moderate and heavy snowfall will be possible near daybreak Wednesday.
• This will likely lead to a sloppy mess on the roadways.
• Snow continues into the afternoon, and the evening commute will be impacted by snow.
• Totals by Wednesday evening should range between 4 and 6 inches with isolated higher amounts possible.
• The snow could cling to trees and if you factor in a breezy wind, isolated power outages cannot be ruled out.
• Light snow and a few flurries are on tap Wednesday night into Thursday due to the lake effect machine kicking on.
