(9-26-22) The Parkway High School Class of 1972 met and celebrated their 50th Class Reunion on Saturday, September 26, 2022. The Willow Bend Country Club in Van Wert provided a classy venue for the celebration with a delicious buffet dinner coordinated by Cindy (Stover) Canary and Michelle (Wallick) Mills.
Jim Kuhn provided the 70s music, and Peg (Snider) Severt passed out her updated class books; Becky Jo (Bollenbacher) Shope and Elaine (Mihm) Geyer decorated all tables and walls, as well as provided a meaningful Memorial table for classmates who had passed.
Phillip Miller (husband of Jane (Luginbill) Miller offered the meal prayer; Master of Ceremonies Gary Hensley held a moment of silence for the deceased classmates followed by a prayer by Becky Jo Shope; Sheila (Wood) Baltzell-Linn created a list of 1970s trivia and did media releases; Bill Hamrick runs the Facebook Class of 1972 page.
Jim Geyer, husband of Elaine (Mihm) Geyer took pictures of the evening.
There was plenty of time for visiting.
