(8-13-22) Ohio City’s Ruth Pease had her security camera at her home capture a fireball last night. According to the video stamp the incident happened early this morning at around 12:38am.

This is what the fireball might have been a part of… the Perseid Meteor shower is one of the strongest and most visible meteor showers that takes place from mid-July into September, but reached its visible peak last night, August 12, and into this morning of August 13. This peak time means that, typically, upwards of 100 “shooting stars” will be visible per hour.
