(8-9-22) On August 9, 2022, a Greenville Police Department officer was on patrol when he observed a dirt bike being operated recklessly on the roadway. The officer attempted to stop the dirt bike but the operator of the dirt bike fled outside of the city limits. The Darke County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate and apprehend the operator of the dirt bike, William Watts Junior, on Stingley Road. Watts was charged with failure to comply and driving under suspension then incarcerated at the Darke County Jail.
