(8-2-22) A large Republican voter turnout in Mercer County Special Primary helped Celina’s Angie King in the 84th State Representative race picking up 64% of vote with 3,090, while New Bremen’s Jacob Larger was 2nd with 1,380. In Auglaize County Larger had a narrow lead with 1,819 to 1,802 for King. King won Darke County with 1,901 votes, with Larger picking up 816 votes.

King wins the primary outdistancing Larger 6,793 to 4,015.

King will face Celina’s Sophia Rodriquez, who ran unopposed,.in the Democrat primary.
