Mercer County Board Of Elections To Hold Special Meeting On Automatic Recount Of Jail Issue

The Mercer County Board of Elections will hold a Special Meeting on June 1st at 10am at the Mercer County Court House.

According to the press release the purpose of the meeting is to conduct an Automatic Recount of the Proposed Question on Sales and Use Tax of 0.5% for the Mercer County Jail.

At the May 3rd primary the issue was voted down by 42 votes. The official difference was 25 votes.
