(3-22-22) According to a WHIO-TV story the family of Lonnie D. Reynolds Jr. was notified just days after their son’s death that his body was placed in the wrong grave plot. Yesterday, against the family’s wishes, his body was suppose to be exhumed and placed into another plot.

According to the WHIO story Reynolds passed away after committing suicide on March 6th. His funeral service was held on March 10th at the Vernon Funeral Home with the burial following at the ‘city owned’ Oak Dale Cemetery. The city, after the body had already been buried, notified the Reynolds family that a mistake had been made and the plot that he was buried in was accidentally sold to the family.
