Reuters You Tube Video Russian President Vladimir Putin has said the Western sanctions against Russia over its invasion of Ukraine would prove to be self-defeating and Moscow would continue to meet its contractual energy obligations.

(3-11-22) While the US and the West continue to put more and more sanctions on President Putin and Russia he claims that ‘Russia will emerge stronger’.
On Thursday the UK sanctioned seven more oligarchs (Soviet business oligarchs include relatives or close associates of government officials, even government officials themselves, as well as criminal bosses often connected to the Russian government.) it links to the Kremlin on Thursday. The European Union added 14 more sanctions). Friday the US, along with the G7 and European Union, will call for revoking “most favored nation” (Most favored nation status requires a country to treat all countries with that status the same) status for Russia. While sanctions continue to be added Ukrainians continue to flee the country and Putin forces continue to advance into the killing devastating the cities and killing civilians. Sanctions will not stop that.
All of this has not stopped Putin as he continues to overrun the Ukraine, shooting, bombing and killing civilians.
Putin said:
“We know it well. They urge their citizens to tighten their belts, dress warmer and point to the sanctions they impose on us as a reason for their deteriorating situation. “
“They announced that they are closing the import of Russian oil to the American market. Prices there are high, inflation is unprecedentedly high, has reached historic highs. They are trying to blame the results of their own mistakes on us,” he said. “We have absolutely nothing to do with it.”
During the crisis the credibility of the US has turned into a milk toast (a meek or timid person) government. This week VP Kamala Harris, who laughed when asked about Ukrainian refugees, continues to embarrass the US on a world-wide stage –
The US has decided that they don’t want to upset Putin and get drawn into a possible WW III…so instead of helping Ukraine stop the aggression by force they will instead impose sanctions and cheer from the sideline. Something that has never been a trait of America. A very said day…now we wait for the next move by Putin.

Pentagon press secretary John Kirby–
” (US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin) stressed that we do not support the transfer of additional fighter aircraft to the Ukrainian air force at this time, and therefore have no desire to see them in our custody either.”
“The prospect of fighter jets ‘at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America’ departing from a U.S./NATO base in Germany to fly into airspace that is contested with Russia over Ukraine raises serious concerns for the entire NATO alliance,”

Thank God the invasion didn’t happen during the previous administration. If it had , the U.S. reaction would have been a wink and a nod, and further criticism and weakening of NATO.
