(12-27-21) According to the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene following the Christmas night 6:44 p.m. crash on I-75 near mile marker 164 in Allen Township, Hancock County. The pedestrian was struck by three separate vehicles

The pedestrian was westbound, attempting to cross I-75 southbound, when they were first struck in the roadway by a 2019 Ford Expedition driven by Philip Wood (42) of Rochester, Michigan. The pedestrian was then struck by two additional vehicles: a 2012 Ford Escape driven by Kelsey Flanigan (29) of Winston Salem, North Carolina and a 2013 Ford Focus driven by Lucas Row (27) of Oregon, Ohio. All three vehicles were traveling south on I-75.

Southbound 75 was shut down for approximately 4 hours for the crash investigation.

The crash remains under investigation, the pedestrian has been identified as William J. Wells (43) of Columbus Ohio. .
