Celina City Council Votes Down Sanctuary City Ordinance 4-2 For 2nd Time

(11-9-21) Despite a revised writing of the abortion ordinance Celina City Council voted down the ordinance for the 2nd time 4-2.

The third and final reading of the ordinance will be voted on at the next council meeting.

According to WCSM voting for the ordinance were Council members Mark Fleck and Eric Clausen. Voting no were Council Members Eric Lochtefeld, June Scott, Mike Sovinski and Myron Buxton.

The first vote Eric Baltzell voted yes, while Mark Fleck voted no the last time.
