Columbus, Ohio (July 19, 2021) – On July 1, Amy B. Ikerd began her second, three-year term on the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) Board of Governors. Ikerd was re-elected by OSBA member attorneys in District 16, which includes Allen, Auglaize, Hardin and Mercer counties.

The OSBA Board of Governors is a 24-member body that is charged with the responsibility of conducting business on the OSBA’s behalf, managing business affairs, setting policy and reviewing pending legislation. 

Amy B. Ikerd is an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. She is a trustee for the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation, a former representative on the OSBA Council of Delegates and president of the Mercer County Bar Association. Ikerd served on the OSBA’s 2014 Commission on Judicial Candidates and currently serves on the Mercer County Bar Association Law Day and Education Committee where she was the former chair. Ikerd has also served as president of Women in Leadership of West Central Ohio and is a member of the Ohio Women’s Bar Association. She received her undergraduate education at Miami University and her law degree from Boston University School of Law.
