(7-17-21) Celina will soon have its own TV station thanks to WTLW in Lima. Over the past several years tv stations have seen changes in their frequencies, when that happened Celina and Mercer County were effected. A change coming in September should help solve that issue.

Coming soon will be WOHW- LD TV.

From Kevin Bowers, President posted on the WTLW web site:

Two years ago, WTLW changed frequencies; and as a result, many families in Van Wert and Mercer Counties, along with Eastern Indiana, lost the ability to receive our signal. The staff and I personally consulted more than 200 viewers as we explored options for each particular situation. Unfortunately, interference from a Fort Wayne TV station greatly complicated matters.

Thankfully, there is a solution! We are building a translator TV station (WOHW) just north of Celina. This move will not only solve the interference problem, it will expand our coverage throughout several counties.

Will you join us in building WOHW? All gifts up to a total of $125,000 will be matched. Together, we can reach the funding goal by end of summer and target a September WOHW sign-on.
