CELINA-(5-20-21) Today, the Ohio Department of Health is reporting 46 new cases per 100,000 residents over the past two weeks in Mercer County. Mercer County was also downgraded to a Level 1 on the Public Health Advisory System today.
Starting next week, the MCHD will only be releasing COVID-19 Situation updates on Wednesdays.
The MCHD will be offering COVID-19 vaccine clinics at the MCHD office. To accommodate those who are 12 years and older and wish to be vaccinated, the MCHD will begin offering the Pfizer Vaccine on Friday, May 28. As of May 20, 2021, the Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports 4,090 confirmed cases, 766 probable cases, 3,946 recovered cases, 2 hospitalizations, 86 COVID-19 deaths, and 19 probable deaths of COVID-19. There have been 41 confirmed cases that have passed away due to causes other than COVID-19. Today, there are 17 known active cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County.
