(3-29-21) The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office announced the promotion of Deputy Rachel Heinl to the rank of Sergeant.
Sergeant Heinl began her law enforcement journey at the age of just 16, when she started the Explorer Program. Three years later, in 2014, she began her career as a Corrections officer.
She then graduated from the Grand Lake Law Enforcement Academy in May of 2016 and was transferred to patrol deputy in July of 2017.
Sergeant Heinl stated:
“I’m excited to take on new roles and responsibilities while still serving the citizens of Mercer County.”
