CELINA (2-15-21) – Due to the winter storm that moved through our region, the Mercer County Health District (MCHD) is announcing our plans for the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics that are scheduled for this week.
The COVID-19 vaccine clinic that was scheduled for tomorrow, February 17, has been postponed. This clinic was for those people who are 65 years of age and older and individuals with severe, congenital, developmental, or early-onset disorders. No online or phone registration will take place today. At this time, the MCHD is planning on rescheduling this clinic for a later date next week. Further information will be forthcoming later this week.
Currently, MCHD is still planning on holding our drive-thru clinic this Friday (February 19) for those who are eligible for their 2nd dose of Pfizer vaccine. If you were vaccinated on January 27 or January 29, please check the vaccine card you received that day to determine your scheduled time. Please only arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment and have your registration form completed before coming. The registration form is available at https://www.mchdohio.org/CovidForm.
The MCHD wants to remind our community that weekly vaccination clinics may be canceled due to inclement weather or an insufficient supply of the vaccine. When this happens, announcements are made through our social media, press releases, radio and television stations, and Nixle.
Note: All of the information provided above pertains to COVID-19 vaccination clinics provided by the Mercer County Health District (health department). COVID-19 vaccine is also offered by Mercer Health (Coldwater hospital).
