(1-4-21) The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies were dispatched to two vehicles that were stuck in a field near the Chicksaw Creek boat docks off Mercer-Auglaize County Line road.

The driver of one of the vehicles, Katheryn Lutz (27) of St Marys, was arrested for suspicion of OVI.

After a search was completed a suspected methamphetamine was located. The driver of the second vehicle was cited for no operators license.

Lutz is currently in custody ($50,000 bond 10%) at the Mercer County Detention Facility and charged with two counts, Possession of Drugs a 5th Degree Felony and Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs a 1st degree Misdemeanor. She is awaiting trial in Celina Municipal Court.
