CELINA – (11-30-20) Erin Hopkins, Family Crisis Network Victims Advocate, recently earned re-certification as a Registered Advocate (RA) for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. RA certification is awarded by the Ohio Advocate Network (OAN) to professionals who demonstrate a commitment to expanding knowledge and skill in the field of victim assistance. Credentials are reviewed every two years. Acquiring re-certification with OAN attests to Hopkins’ passionate pursuit of best methods to providing guidance, shelter, and support for Mercer County residents.

Hopkins joined Our Home Family Resource Center’s Family Crisis Network team in July 2016 and serves as both victims advocate and domestic violence shelter monitor.  She is a graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.  She is also certified through National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) as a credentialed advocate. Hopkins lives in Celina with her husband and children.
