Celina, Ohio, September 17, 2020 – The architecture, interiors and engineering firm Fanning Howey is continuing its 59-year history in Celina, Ohio, with the purchase of the 9,244-square-foot Casad building at 128 W. Market Street. The former retail and bank building will be renovated to become a modern design studio for Fanning Howey’s 34-person Celina office.
Steve Wilczynski, AIA, executive director for Fanning Howey
“Next year marks Fanning Howey’s 60th anniversary, and so it is the perfect time to renew our commitment to the place where our firm began. The Casad building is in the heart of the city, and we are proud to be part of the revitalization of downtown Celina.”
Fanning Howey plans to renovate the Casad building in the spring of 2021 and occupy the facility by the end of that same year. Renovations will create a modern design studio complete with flexible workstations, multiple design labs and state-of-the-art visualization tools.
The first Fanning Howey office opened in Celina in 1961. The firm has been located at 540 East Market Street since 1989. Fanning Howey currently has offices in Celina and Dublin, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Ind.
