From the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office:

(9-15-20) Sheriff Grey and the staff of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office send out our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Retired Chief Deputy Tim Fink, who passed away this past weekend.

He began working for our office in 1976 and retired in May of 2006. He held many ranks throughout his career with the Sheriff’s Office, including Deputy, Captain, and finally, Chief Deputy.

He served Mercer County with pride, inspired all around him, and was a great friend. To allow time for our staff to mourn the loss of a dear friend, our Civil Division will be closed Friday, September 18th, 2020 until 1pm.

Thank you for your understanding. We are truly comforted in knowing that he will always have our six… “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (Matthew 25:21)
