CELINA- As of September 1, 2020, the Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports 802 confirmed cases, 37 probable cases, 730 recovered cases, 47 pending cases, 2,871 negative cases, 8 hospitalizations, 15 deaths, and 1 probable death of COVID-19. Currently, there are 55 active cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County.
Mercer Health has updated the COVID-19 Drive Thru Testing procedures. Effective Tuesday, September 8th, appointments will be required to be tested at Mercer Health’s COVID-19 Drive Thru Testing located at 115 Summit St. in Celina. Appointments will decrease wait times and expedite the administrative process at the testing site.
To make an appointment, please follow the options outlined below.
If you have a primary care provider:
- Call your primary care provider (doctor’s office) for care and/or testing instructions.
- If your primary care provider determines testing is needed, an order will be sent.
- After the order is received, a member of the Mercer Health registration staff will call to register the patient and make an appointment for the testing.
- If you do not have a primary care provider: Call Mercer Health’s COVID-19 Hotline at 419-678-5395 for further direction.
