CELINA (7-31-20) – As of July 31, 2020, the Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports 14 new COVID 19 confirmed cases.

  • 480th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 30-40 years.
  • 481st confirmed case is a female in the age range of 20-30 years.
  • 482nd confirmed case is a female in the age range of 70-80 years.
  • 483rd confirmed case is a male in the age range of 10-20 years.
  • 484th confirmed case is female in the age range of 10-20 years.
  • 485th confirmed case is female in the age range of 20-30 years.
  • 486th confirmed case is male in the age range of 30-40 years.
  • 487th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 60-70 years.
  • 488th confirmed case is female in the age range of 20-30 years.
  • 489th confirmed case is female in the age range of 60-70 years.
  • 490th confirmed case is female in the age range of 60-70 years.
  • 491st confirmed case is a male in the age range of 70-80 years.
  • 492nd confirmed case is female in the age range of 60-70 years.
  • 493rd confirmed case is a female in the age range of 20-30 years.

All of these individuals are self-isolating at home.

As of July 31, 2020, the Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports 493 confirmed cases, 11 probable cases, 386 recovered cases, 105 pending cases, 2,132 negative cases, 1 hospitalization, 12 deaths, and 1 probable death of COVID-19. Currently, there are 94 active cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County.

The MCHD wants to remind the public about the mask mandate for all counties in Ohio. The following applies to the mandate:

  • Masks must be worn at all times when at an indoor location that is not a residence
  • Outdoors – when unable to keep 6’ social distance from those not in your household
  • When waiting for, riding, driving or operating public transportation, such as a taxi, car service, or private rideshares
  • The following groups are not required to wear a mask: individuals under the age of 10, individuals who have a medical condition or disability, officiants at religious services, individuals actively exercising or playing sports, individuals involved in public safety, and individuals actively eating or drinking.

Auglaize County Health District reports 9 new confirmed COVID 19 cases.

  • 220th case is a 53 year old female that is self-isolating at home.
  • 221st case is a 35 year old female that is self-isolating at home.
  • 222nd case is a 45 year old male that is self-isolating at home.
  • 223rd case is an 18 year old female that is self-isolating at home.
  • 224th case is a 79 year old male that is self-isolating at home.
  • 225th case is a 29 year old male that is self-isolating at home.
  • 226th case is a 25 year old female that is self-isolating at home.
  • 227th case is a 59 year old male that is self-isolating at home.
  • 228th case is a 23 year old male that is self-isolating at home.
