- 379th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 50-60 years.
- 380th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 60-70 years.
- 381st confirmed case is a female in the age range of 40-50 years.
- 382nd confirmed case is a male in the age range of 50-60 years.
- 383rd confirmed case is a male in the age range of 50-60 years.
- 384th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 60-70 years.
- 385th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 60-70 years.
- 386th confirmed case is male in the age range of 50-60 years.
- 387th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 40-50 years.
- 388th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 40-50 years.
- 389th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 20-30 years.
- 390th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 10-20 years.
- 391st confirmed case is a female in the age range of 50-60 years.
- 392nd confirmed case is a female in the age range of 40-50 years.
- 393rd confirmed case is a male in the age range of 30-40 years.
- 394th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 20-30 years.
- 395th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 40-50 years.

- 405th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 30-40 years.
- 406th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 30-40 years.
- 407th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 30-40 years.
- 408th confirmed case is a female in the range of 20-30 years.
All of these individuals are self-isolating at home.
Since Friday, July 17, there has been a total of 90 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County. COVID-19 is community spread and affecting all demographics across the county.
As of July 23, 2020, the MCHD reports 408 confirmed cases, 8 probable cases, 267 recovered cases, 214 pending cases, 1,729 negative cases, 4 hospitalizations, 10 deaths, and 1 probable death of COVID-19. Currently, there are 130 active cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County.
The MCHD pleads to the citizens of Mercer County to take the precautions to protect themselves and those around them from the spread of COVID-19. We need cooperation from the public to slow the spread of the virus in our community.
Yesterday, Governor DeWine announced a mandatory mask order for all counties in Ohio, beginning tonight at 6:00 PM. The following applies to the mandate:
- Masks must be worn at all times when at an indoor location that is not a residence
- Outdoors β when unable to keep 6β social distance from those not in your household
- When waiting for, riding, driving or operating public transportation, such as a taxi, car service, or private rideshares
- The following groups are not required to wear a mask: individuals under the age of 10, individuals who have a medical condition or disability, officiants at religious services, individuals actively exercising or playing sports, individuals involved in public safety, and individuals actively eating or drinking.
A travel advisory was issued on July 22, 2020, for all individuals coming into Ohio from states reporting COVID-19 testing rates of 15 percent or higher. Those traveling from one of the following states should self-quarantine for 14 days at home or in a hotel: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, Nevada, South Carolina, and Texas.
