(7-10-20) Corey Withrow (31) from Camden, Ohio is facing charges of four counts of reckless homicide; four counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death and one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury.
Withrow was driving s semi-truck for Barnets Inc., of Camden on Thursday afternoon when a multiple vehicle crash near Cambridge City on eastbound I-70 killed four children (Anesa Noel Acosta (15); Quintin Michael McGowan, (13); Brekkin Riley Bruce, (8) and Trentin Beau Bruce, (6)) and left the driver of the car, Aaron Bruce of Kansas City, in critical condition at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis after suffering burns.
Withrow has had trouble with the law several times over the years…he was convicted of heroin possession in 2016 in Preble County along with burglary, breaking and entering and aggravated possession of drugs. He was sentenced to community control for each conviction.
Withrow was convicted of reckless operation of a motor vehicle and carrying drug paraphernalia in 2015 in Franklin Municipal Court and was fined $275 on the reckless operating charge and $50 for the drug paraphernalia charge.Withrow was driving for Barnets Inc., a trucking company based out of Camden.
