CELINA, OH – Mercer County Jeff Grey reports that his office has, for the third time this year, arrested Christopher Berogan (29) for Failure to Register an Address. Berogan was taken into custody on June 3 without incident and incarcerated in the Mercer County Jail on one count of Failure to Register, a felony of the third degree.
Berogan was released from the Mercer County Jail on Wednesday, May 27 after pleading guilty to one count of Failure to Register and being sentenced to Probation through the Mercer County Common Pleas Court. Berogan registered an address on Oregon Road upon his release from jail, which he is required to do. Berogan never went to that address and several tips were received that he was again living at 1400 West Market Street in Celina. Deputies completed an investigation and found the tips provided were accurate and a warrant was sought and received.
Berogan is being held in the Mercer County Jail, without bond, pending an initial appearance in the Celina Municipal Court.
