(4-16-20) Ohio Governor Mike DeWine  today on his Twitter account told Buckeyes that the state will reopen on May 1st.  But he also quoted famous English Prime Minister.

On November 10, 1942, Winston Churchill said this:
“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”
DeWine added in another tweet –
I believe this is where we are today. At the end of the beginning stage of the COVID 19 pandemic.

DeWine announced that he has put together an economic advisory board made up of CEOs from large and small companies across Ohio, they have already worked on some issues.

Dr. Amy Acton said –

The path ahead will consist of several phases and there is a lot of things that you can do to help us continue to flatten the curve, such as great hygiene and wearing a face mask while out in public.

Face masks will be a big part of our future. Do not underestimate the power of donning your face mask.

No definite guidelines have been detailed at this time, but a meeting between US Governors and President Trump is taking place today and that should help shape some of the future plans.

Seven Midwestern governors announced this afternoon that they will coordinate on reopening their state economies amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The latest agreement includes Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Kentucky.

Meanwhile this afternoon; Wisconsin Governor Evers has extended the ‘Stay at Home Order‘ until May 26th and closed the state’s schools for the remainder of the school year.
