(3-27-20) Adams County (Indiana) Health Officer Dr. Michael Ainsworth has ordered all Faith organizations to cancel immediately all services, until it is deemed safe by government officials to hold them.
Ainsworth did not reference any certain faith group, but Adams County does have a large Amish community in the county and due to their religious beliefs do not have social media. They do have regular Sunday meetings that are held at a members home. Some area residents are concerned that they are not aware of the current situation with the stay at home order by the state.
The first positive cornavirus test result happened in Adams County on March 9th and was is in isolation at theAdams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
