(11-8-19) Thursday afternoon around 4:15pm the Van Wert Police Department made a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was Tate Arnold who has an outstanding warrant out of the Van Wert Municipal Court.
After further investigation by officers, Arnold was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, needles, drug paraphernalia and a grey substance believed to be Fentanyl that was sent to the lab for further testing.
Arnold was taken to the Van Wert County Jail to be housed on the warrant and was charged with possession of Meth. Other charges are pending once lab results are back from the Ohio Crime lab.
