(4-12-19) The wife of Rockford native Dr. Christopher Osborn (50), who was shot and killed in Dublin in July, was indicted Friday on two counts of murder in connection to his death.
Both murder counts have added firearm specifications. Holli Osborn (43), a registered nurse, was intoxicated at the time she called her father, Cole said in the 911 call. He said she awoke from being passed out and found her husband dead in their bed.
According to police reports Osborn was shot three times in the head and face while sleeping in bed in his home.
After the shooting Mrs. Osborn (43) called her father, Ed Cole of Quincy, who after a short time would call 9-1-1 to report that his son-in-law had died.
She had called her father from the kitchen of the Osborn home and remained on the line during the call with him throughout the call that was routed through the Logan County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center to the Dublin Police Dispatch.
