(2-15-19) The Rockford Police were called to 218 West Market Street at 4:55am this morning. Officers where advised by a female that Zachary H. Haney (35) was outside her door with a gun threatening her boyfriend.
Rockford Police Chief Paul May and Mercer County Sheriff Deputies arrived at the scene and located Haney who was very agitated and uncooperative. Officers attempted to detain and identify Haney, who was intoxicated, resisted arrest and refused to give his name.
Haney has an outstanding warrant out of Mercer County. Also located in the area was a .25 Caliber handgun and Drugs.
Haney was transported to the Mercer County Jail and is being held on the Warrant.
The Rockford Police were assisted by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and Celina Police Department.
