(1-15-19) The Kiwanis Club of Celina will be selling Super Bowl 50/50 chances at CJ’s Highmarks during dinner hours on Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2. Tickets are 1 for $1 and 6 for $5. Proceeds will go to the club’s Bryson Park Project fund.

At the club’s last meeting, Ohio District Treasurer Bob Day spoke briefly to the club. He said the Kenton club has been reactivated. Day will serve as Kenton’s club coach and secretary for their first year. This chapter is in the same division as Celina. He also reminded members about expanding the club through corporate memberships, a suggestion originally made at the Division 2 meeting.

The Celina Kiwanis have been busy planning their next Fun Night and discussing ways to improve 2019’s Reindog Breakfast. The club hopes to surpass the success of this year’s event.

The board voted to make donations to Our Home’s Empty Bowls fundraiser, C.A.L.L.’s backpack program, State of the Heart, and the Kiwanis Children’s fund.
